Last week...

Last week was a good week.

The Thanksgiving Group (AKA: Denver/Altadena) was around.

There was a lot of construction, Thanksgiving food preparation, and relationship building.

It was a great week with great people and great fun.

There was a constant stream of laughter and good conversation.

It felt like half of my best friends were there & it was awesome.

Thanksgiving dinner was huge.

A bunch of people showed up from town & with that plus the CVE family and team we had around 250 mouths to feed.

Thank God the food lasted through it all & there were leftovers!

All in all...the week was fantastic. unforgettable.

Isaac is the newest addition to the CVE family.

He's around 3 months old & gets no shortage of attention. :]

Art class update.

'ello faithful blog stalkers!

It is I, Katie...the part time art teacher here at this beautiful establishment.

I just wanted to give you all an update about what has been happening in our class.

[Ok, I'll be normal...although it's not near as fun]

I think I already wrote this in a previous post, but I'm helping out with art class once a week at the school at CVE.

Our first project was to make & paint a bag or pillow.

We've been working on everyone's projects for about 3 weeks & we finally finished!

I loved how everyone (for the most part) used the creative side of their brain on this project!

I think they did a pretty good job!

(p.s.-Candi was at the right place at the right time & got an extra pillow that hadn't been finished...She helped me stuff it & carried it around all day...it was SOO cute!)

This is Emma.

She's small, adorable, cute, adorable, brown & white, annnnnddd....adorable.

We got her from a rescue thing in Tucson.

She's like...12 weeks old or something.
